The Patient Decision Aids Research Group was established in November 1995 to help patients and their health practitioners make "tough" healthcare decisions. "Tough" healthcare decisions may have many options, uncertain outcomes or benefits and harms that people value differently. We are part of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and affiliated with the University of Ottawa. The team designs and tests decision aids and training programs for patients and health practitioners.
The group was founded by Professor Annette O'Connor and is directed by Professor Dawn Stacey. Browse the menu items for more infomation about the people that make up the Patient Decision Aids Research Group and link to their profiles.
